#Penny4NASA This guy is amazing. In a world where all seems lost, when our best days seem to be behind us, when we just seem to be doing less with more and moving back into the dark ages, this guy works tirelessly to inspire and move us forward, to bring back the hope for a better future of a long past era. I commend him and support his trek.

Lollipop

Dunno if this was done for fun, but even if extreme, it’s a great PSA about sharing your info online! Take the lollipop if you dare…

“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it’s very difficult to find anyone.”- J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit
In anticipation of the movie, I’ve been reading The Hobbit for the first time. Shameful, I know; please don’t revoke my geek card. I’ve been enjoying the experience so much that I plan on going through the Lord of the Rings trilogy as well. Just thought this illustration and quote capture the essence of the book. Sir Ian McKellen does a good job of this one line (and I’m certain the rest of them given his performance in the LOTR movies) in the trailer for the movie, which you can watch here.
(Credit for the illustration goes to Annie Carbo who is clearly very talented.)
